Women in Business

I have been a member of Women in Business (WIB) since 2020. WIB is dedicated to advancing the success of women within the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis. The board strives for all club activities to embody WIB's purpose while welcoming those who identify as women and consider themselves allies. I started by attending events and worked my way to VP of Outreach in 2022, and then to Vice President in 2023. Within both of my roles, I was in charge of corresponding with guests, university administration, and student organizations. I planned, coordinated, and implemented several events per month, including speaker events, panels, workshops, volunteer events, and member socials. Within my role as Vice President, I also gained more responsibility in leading a board of nine other individuals, in collaboration with the President and other Vice President, with direct supervision and support over the Assistant Vice Presidents and Directors. My time with WIB was an especially rewarding experience, filled with growth, camaraderie, and professional development. The club had just been revitalized when I began college, and I had the opportunity to further develop and grow the club to where it is now. It was a privilege to be part of the rejuvenation and tremendous growth that Women in Business experienced within only four years. Now it is one of the most active clubs within the Kelley School of Business and I look forward to seeing the further growth that ensues after I graduate.
