Summer 2023 Internship

During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to complete an internship for Merchants Bank of Indiana as a Project Delivery Intern. This position was within the product delivery business function for the mortgage department and was akin to business intelligence in nature. Through this internship, I conducted data analysis, cleansing, and validation for various projects. I also worked on a project in which I verified financial covenant requirements and ratios based on financial statements in CreditQuest. My last project involved me conducting user audits within several systems used by the Bank. I was able to enhance my knowledge of various areas of the Bank and banking industry, including mortgage, SBA, and commercial lending, through my everyday work. Additionally, the internship program allowed me and the other interns to strengthen transferable skills and industry knowledge through twice-weekly professional development meetings.
